Accessible Courses?
« on: May 18, 2011, 10:24:17 AM »
I am a Recreation Therapist who works with adults with traumatic brain injuries.  One on my current patients was an avid player, (5-6 times per week in the Houston area), but has suffered a stroke.  He is no longer able to throw the same distances he used to, and will require a wheelchair for mobility.  However, he still enjoys the activity and would like to continue to play once he discharges from our facicility.

Does anyone know of any short, accessible courses, or any websites that might offer adapted equipment or gear that would offer him some more independence with this activity?

Thanks for you time, Jaffo

Very Humble
